THE CINEMAT'S BEER LIST

IMPORTS:

  • Bass Ale, Pale Ale (England)
Hailing from England, Bass Ale has a deep amber color with a big yeasty and malty nose. This standard English Ale is bold and assertive in the mouth, with notes of prune and plum and has a malt body with a balancing to slightly bitter hop finish.

  • Beck’s, Lager (Germany)
Beck’s is a classic German lager beer with a distinctive full-bodied taste, fresh hoppy bouquet, golden color and full rich head. Adding to its complexity is a slightly fruity but firm crispness and a dry, clean finish.

  • Corona, Pilsner-style (Mexico)
Mexico’s best-selling beer in the world for the last 15 years.

  • Guinness Draught, Stout (Ireland)
Guinness is known world-wide for its rich, creamy head and robust flavor. We are proud to offer Guinness in the “draught bottle.” According to Guinness, once the bottle is opened, the “rocket widget” creates the famous surge and forms the signature creamy head right inside. Every time you take a drink from the bottle the “rocket widget” refreshes the surge so that you get the perfect pint taste with every sip.

  • Negra Modelo, Dark Lager (Mexico)
Brewed by Mexico’s largest brewery (Grupo Modelo—brewer of Corona), this dark lager is said to be one of Mexico’s best export beers. With a chocolaty smooth taste, Negra Modelo is similar in style to a German-style Munich dunkle.

  • Newcastle Brown, Brown Ale (Scotland)
Probably one of the most well-known English-style ales this side of the Atlantic. Rich brown in color, the flavor is full, with both malt and hops in a well balanced combination.

DOMESTICS:

  • Pabst, American-style Lager (USA)
“Heineken … Heineken? PABST BLUE RIBBON!” Dennis Hopper’s favorite beer.

  • Pete's Wicked Ale, Brown Ale (USA)
You won’t feel wicked after tasting this ruby brown, medium-bodied brown ale from North Carolina. With a roasted caramel and hop bouquet, the taste is surprisingly smooth. The initial malt sweetness is balanced with the hop, dispelling the myth that all dark beers are bitter.

  • Smirnoff Ice, Malt Beverage (USA)
You know … premium malt beverage. For people who don’t like beer.

  • Upland American Amber Ale (Bloomington, IN)
Locally brewed Upland American Amber Ale has a malty almond/chocolate taste laced with a lush spicy hop flavor. The creamy body, combined with a robust maltiness, makes this a satisfying beer.

  • Upland Bad Elmer’s Porter (Bloomington, IN)
Creamy chocolate flavors combine with a lightly roasted finish and superb body to balance this traditional brown porter. A fragrant malt/hop aroma and herbaceous hop flavor complete this highly drinkable ale.

  • Upland Belgian Wheat Ale (Bloomington, IN)
An award winning and classic rendition of a Belgian wit, this ale is light on the tongue and easy going. The Wheat Ale is made with 50% wheat malt and spiced with coriander and curacao orange peel.

  • Upland Dragonfly IPA, India Pale Ale (Bloomington, IN)
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. It features a clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and the use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

  • Woodchuck Amber Cider, Cider (USA)
Woodchuck’s original cider brew, it’s made from a blend of apples and fermented with champagne yeast to produce a great tasting and refreshing alcoholic drink. This cider is golden in color with a medium-light body, mild bitterness, medium sweetness, and a crisp and pleasant character with a concentrated apple finish.
